Managing Director Jagera Daran Community and Heritage Solutions, Madonna creates and builds corporate and governance models, facilitates organisational capacity building and advises on accountability and business management.

As Manager Director of Jagera Daran Community and Heritage Solutions, Madonna is an experienced founding operator of a successful and respected Queensland indigenous business. She works with aboriginal communities across southeast Queensland, developing and sharing traditional knowledge about managing the state’s natural resources and environment.

Madonna is a member of the Jagera People and has worked for more than ten years in native title, cultural heritage and natural resource management. She facilitates Aboriginal engagement in natural resource management programs with state and federal agencies and is adept at the negotiation of Indigenous Land Use Agreements, Cultural Heritage Management Plans and Cultural Heritage Management Agreements.

In consultation with southeast Queensland traditional owner groups, Madonna was instrumental in the development of the regional engagement framework. The framework created the basis for meaningful and effective engagement between traditional owner groups, government and community.
In demand as a keynote speaker, Madonna presents at state, national and international conferences on indigenous engagement and governance in native title, cultural heritage and natural resource management.

Madonna is a recipient of the Queensland inaugural Indigenous Leaders awards and one of only 100 individuals chosen by the federal government to participate in the 2006 Australian Future Leaders Forum.
